A warm hello and welcome from Ann and John Barker to new and returning guests. Force Mill Guesthouse, a 17th century former farm, stands by Force Falls beauty spot at the junction of Grizedale and the lovely Rusland Valley. The surroundings are secluded and tranquil. Nearby, visitors will find famous Hawkshead. Closer still are the quiet hamlet of Satterthwaite, the Grizedale Riding Stables, and the Grizedale Forest Centre with mountain biking, woodland sculptures and forest trails. The delightful hills, lakes and woods are lovely settings for walking, hiking, bird-watching, horse-riding and cycling off-road or along quiet valley lanes. Our central location allows easy access to all other areas of the Lake District. |
